Meet Bobby Steiner

The Instructor and Innovator Behind SwingMadeGolf

Bobby Steiner is a professional golf instructor, author, and inventor with more than 30 years devoted to helping golfers of all ages and abilities develop a more natural, consistent, and effective golf swing.

As Director of Instruction at Horseshoe Bay Resort, Bobby has dedicated his career to understanding how people achieve lasting improvement. His teaching philosophy is deeply influenced by legendary golf instructor Ernest Jones, author of Swing the Clubhead, who understood that a great golf swing is not built by concentrating on a complicated series of mechanical movements, but by learning to understand an actual swinging motion.

Drawing on these principles and decades of hands-on teaching experience, Bobby created the SwingMadeGolf Training System. Combining three innovative training aids with a guided instructional video series, the system provides golfers with a practical approach to developing the skills and physical understanding necessary for a more natural and repeatable swing. His goal is simple: to help golfers improve through less thinking and more natural reaction.

Bobby’s expertise in teaching and physical performance extends beyond golf. He's owned and operated multiple martial arts academies, and spent 42 years competing on the open circuit, earning 372 victories in 433 black belt fights. These experiences gave him a unique understanding of skill development, purposeful repetition, discipline, and performing under pressure—all principles that continue to shape his approach to golf instruction.

An accomplished author and motivational speaker, Bobby has written several books, including golf instruction works, Muni ~ A Lifetime of Lessons, an inspirational book exploring the deeper lessons that golf offers both on and off the course, and The Little Book to Big Success, which examines practical principles for achievement in business and everyday life.

Bobby believes that improving at golf involves quieting the mind to achieve purposeful practice.

That philosophy is the foundation of SwingMadeGolf: helping golfers understand, develop, and trust their swing.
